Water For People DC is seeking Donations

The 5th annual World Water Day event will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Ulah Bistro in Washington, DC. All proceeds from this event will return to support the work of Water For People to provide access to clean water and sanitation to communities around the globe.

At this event, there will be a raffle, and they want to reach out to any wonderful artist who would be interested to support World Water Day through the donation of a piece. The piece is not required to be "water" themed, as they truly appreciate any and all support received!

Water For People DC is an entirely volunteer committee composed of individuals who care passionately about the 884 million people worldwide who risk sickness and death everyday from unsafe water supplies. Each year, in support of the United Nation's World Water Day, we organize a happy hour event to bring attention to the issue and raise support and funding to continue to address it. Our events typically draw 70-100 people and we expect a large crowd this year in anticipation of our keynote speaker, Mr. Alex Prud'homme, author of the The Ripple Effect.
