Annual International Evening: “Sharing Our Cultures, Sharing
Ourselves” to be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012. This exciting event will
offer guests a unique opportunity to experience African, Asian and Latin American
cultures, in addition to international cuisine and entertainment. It will also
feature a Silent Auction.
Auction proceeds will directly benefit hundreds of immigrants who visit the Esperanza Center everyday. For more than forty-nine years, the Esperanza Center (formerly the Hispanic Apostolate) has provided a wide range of services to new immigrants including:: English as a Second Language, Citizenship and Computer Literacy classes; Health Services; Immigration Legal Services; and Community Services.
They are asking artists to donate to the silent to help them raise critical funds to fulfill their mission.
They gratefully accept all items, particularly those which will inspire our guests to bid enthusiastically. Items such as sporting event tickets, sports memorabilia, airline tickets, artwork, handcrafted pieces, food and drink baskets, professional services vouchers, jewelry, antiques and gift certificates would be wonderful additions to our auction. All donors will be listed in the event program. They anticipate at least 250 guests at the event. Donors are invited to display business cards or brochures that would further your marketing efforts along with the donated item(s).
