Alexandria Symphony looking for Artists to participate in Children's Festival

The Symphony has just begun planning it's 2012 Children’s Arts Festival.  The event will be held on Sunday, May 20, from 2pm-4pm at TC Williams.  The theme of this year’s event is The Planets – we will be playing excerpts from Gustav Holst’s suite of the same name.  The title of this year’s Festival is Cosmic Quest.

We would very much like to have our visual arts colleagues from Alexandria be part of the event again.  We are offering $100 to cover supplies for any activity provider who would incur expense of materials in providing an activity.  If your organization is not in a position to consider this request, we would ask that you please forward this email to any teachers and arts educators you may know.
