The 48th Annual Craft
+ Design Show is open for applications on www.Zapplication.com! This year's show,
benefiting the Visual Arts Center of Richmond (VisArts), will take place
Friday, November 16 - Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Science Museum of
Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.
The Craft + Design Show is reputed as being one
of the nation’s best craft shows, hosting a high-caliber of craft and
attracting exhibitors from all over the nation. Cash prizes totaling more
than $6,000 will be awarded and may include Best in Show, Ceramics,
Contemporary Design, Design in Precious Metal, Glass, Innovative Materials or
Processes, Traditional Craft Materials, Wood or Recycled Materials, and
Wearable Art.
The Craft + Design show is one of VisArt's
biggest annual fund-raisers, supporting our outstanding youth and senior
outreach programs, innovative exhibitions- open 7 days a week and free to the
public, and a year-round schedule of art and creativity classes, offering over
20 varieties of media to students of all ages.
